A Buzzing Time is a 3D single-player exploration game where the player crash lands on a planet, trying to find their way out. This project had a focus on discovery and therefore the level was built to invoke that type of engagement.
This is an independent project developed in Unity 3D.
Roles
Level Design
Planned the layout on paper and used Maya to create the level.
Incorporated spacial archetypes, compositional techniques and lighting to help guide the player.
Established a production plan to ensure due dates were met and made cuts accordingly.
Iterated the design of the level through playtesting during the development of the project.
