OrbZ Frenzy

OrbZ Frenzy is a 2D competitive two-player action game. The goal was to invoke a sense of competition towards the players through domination and disruption. Each player must collect orbs and score by reaching the goal that corresponds to their color.

While collecting orbs, players can shoot projectiles at their opponent to decrease the number of orbs they are currently holding. Whichever player can score the maximum or most points before the time ends is declared the winner.

This is an independent project developed in Unity 3D.



Roles

 

Level Design

  • Crafted 3 distinct levels to encourage different types of gameplay.

  • Incorporated varying levels of difficulty in each level to increase engagement.

  • Strategically placed pickups in areas where both players would encounter each other.

ux dESIGN

  • Implemented audio and visual feedback for key events.

  • Playtested levels to ensure they were enjoyable and not frustrating.
